Tumblr was enjoyable. I’m moving out soon, if you like my ideas you can find me somehow. My Tumblr is up and running until I find a way to transport my posts to my computer. Then, I’ll be gone like a chunky mockingbird after a syrupy slurp. Thanks for tuning in whoever you are. If you are anyone at all.
Everything was going well until I saw some images in my Intro to Journalism class. We were discussing unethical journalism and my professor showed two photographs captured by journalists. You know, I’m not even going to write them out, because they’re etched in my mind. Completely gruesome and horrific. I don’t think I should let these things bring rain over my good day. I’m grateful right now…
I’m proud of the little goals I’ve been achieving lately, and even though I feel like today didn’t run as “smooth” as I’d like. I learn. I learn from everything that happens; I’m grateful for that. Have a great night.

I’m proud of myself. Yup, I sure am. I ran my first 5K today, like a legitimate runner. It was such a great experience. Half way through my legs wanted to give up, they were red from muscle use and felt like concrete. I’m so glad I went through with it though—the feeling you get after a run like that is amazing…You have to experience it yourself. I’m running another 5K at the end of April. It’s called “The Midnight Fun Run” and it’s set up by my school. Hundreds of students get together to run at 11:59 p.m. and then we get free breakfast after (yay food).
This might totally seem like it’s off a tangent, but it’s actually related in a way that, well, only I might understand. Let me just say, God answers prayer. Regardless of time lapse, He answers them. Sometimes, it’s not how you wanted it, but it’s the best way because He sees all perspectives. Even more incredible, is that He answers prayers when we aren’t faithful to Him. He still answers them. Even when we’re being lazy or forgetful, He’s working. I want to leave you with this, “Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.” Romans 8:34

Here’s my face, so that you can better picture me talking to you.
I NEED YOUR TESTIMONY!
I’m writing a book currently, called “Pursue”. It’s based off of 2 Timothy 2:22, and focuses on seven specific things that keep young people in particular from saying a wholehearted yes to Jesus. One of these areas is addiction, and I will be sharing my own story, but I need more stories! It doesn’t have to be about addiction, just something God has taught you through a situation. There’s no guarantee that you’ll be in the book, but if you are I will be letting you know, and sending you any parts of your story in the context of what I’ll be writing for you to approve.
Email your testimony with PURSUE as the subject line to pursuetheone@gmail.com, and please reblog this, I need as many stories as possible!

My newly shaven legs have sprouted hairs because of my constant goosebumps. I’m so cold everywhere! Outside, it’s very humid, and it’s been gray all day. I’m tempted to say it’s “gross” weather, but it’s relaxing and I hear bird’s chirping. At 7:30 p.m.
Ah yoga. Delicious, relaxing, strengthening yoga. I’m so grateful for it. I really love practicing yoga, and noticing my breathing rate, my flexibility, and my progression as the class goes on. As the classes pass. I love seeing everyone else practicing with me too. Getting stronger in the quiet studio of wooden floors and encircling mirrors. The only noise is the soft hush of folky music and the instructor’s indications. So good.
It’s a sleepy day. It’s been so quiet all day, and I’m enjoying it, but also feeling a little restless to be honest. Today has felt like a 20-hour car ride with nothing but fields of yellow-green to either side. Iron & Wine floating to my ears is not making this day seem any livelier. But, it’s all about enjoying this present moment, at least that what’s I feel like it’s all about. Hmmm
